Society6 – Simply put, Society6 is a place “where artists connect with unique opportunities, and sell their work as a variety of products. Anyone can join.”
Each entry is a big thumbnail image of an artist’s work (including graphic design, photography, etc.), and users are invited to ‘promote’ (giving the thumbs up) the works they were impressed by. All the creations displayed on Society6 are available for sale, and this is a great art initiative that’s making the most out of Web 2.0. You should also know that the artwork here includes amazing laptop, iPhone & iPod skins, and tee shirts. Click on the images below to see which art works I’m considering buying for my new apartment.
