Happy News – Reading the newspaper (printed edition) from front to back is something I’ve stopped doing when I was about 18 years old. I realized that news stories and articles often repeated themselves – another earthquake, another politician with a greased hand, one more robbery, etc. Since then I’ve mastered my own strict filtering process when it came to news. What I was totally oblivious to, as I’m sure many others still are, is that positive news stories and occurrences actually exist! Who would have guessed that one can receive a constant flow of encouraging reports, each unique in itself, without repetition? Happy News has taken up the task of doing just that. Why? Because they believe that virtue, goodwill and heroism are hot news. They provide us with up-to-the-minute news, geared to lift our spirits and inspire our lives. My fave story: Korean Grannies Take Up Tae Kwon Do.
