DropPlay – Listen to Music and Spread the Love

DropPlayDropPlay is a new social music player worth checking out. Its platform is a sort of an innovative combination of itunes, facebook, YouTube and Pandora. Use it as a regular online music player by searching for your favorite songs or artists and DropPlay will produce a list of relevant results, all which are relevant YouTube clips. This online music concept isn’t new – Jango has been doing it for a while. The DropPlay twist is users’ ability to join the service through their facebook account. My assumption is that many among you already have a facebook account, so you’ll be spared from the signing up process. In addition, you can share and/or recommend your favorite music with or to your facebook friends. Simply drag a song to your friend’s name and that’s about it. No more sending emails to friends with a link to a cool YouTube video. For a better understanding of how this service works, check out the video below.
