Aardvark – Ask Questions, Get Fast Answers
August 31, 2009 by Shachar Pessis 3 Comments
Aardvark – While there are numerous Q&A services online, it is not always easy to get that reliable answer you’re craving for, particularly when you need it. Aardvark tries to take this concept to the next level by connecting curious people on one end with knowledgeable folks on the other. Through a choice between a variety of mediums (IM, email, SMS, GoogleTalk or Facebook), Aardvark users play both roles of the inquiry business; when you sign up, you ‘declare’ areas and fields in which you have experience and knowledge. This way the service knows what questions to refer to you for help, when others post their why’s, who’s, what’s and where’s.
I use this service via GoogleTalk and I must say, I’m extremely pleased. Once I submit a question, it takes about 2-4 minutes for the first answer to arrive, and it’s interesting to get concrete replies by people from all over the world. And if you don’t know the answer to a certain question, you can always refer Aardvark to someone who does. I encourage you to give this great service a try.
