A Billion for a Billion – According to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFF), “For the first time in human history, the number of hungry people worldwide will exceed one billion.” If this number strikes you as utterly disturbing as well, you should know there are many things you can do to help, especially in and through our social networking environment. You can start by using our god given web 2.0 applications to spread the word – click here for the various options available. In addition, donating always goes a long way, even if it’s a frugal contribution. Think about it, if every online user donates 25 cents, it will add up to a heck of a lot of $$$ that could beat one of the 21st century’s most pressing issues – hunger.
Worldwide hunger is something that concerns us at AllMyFaves, and we want to help out wherever possible.
