   So, why are there so many sites by companies who make kids consumers? Is that our goal here? Barbie, Disney, Nick, Bratz, etc. Is there anywhere on earth that a kid can go anymore where they are not incessantly reminded of the things they need to buy in order to be whole?

   Great list!! I have a site called Printables4Kids.com that has everything from word search puzzles to coloring pages and everything in between.

    Thanks for the useful infos. I also have a toddler interested in playing with computer not quite knowing what to do except tearing apart. :0
    It would be great if you comment on how much commercialized these sites are. mind these are all part of marketing tools for the company.

    Another really great kids site is Ziggity Zoom. It’s both fun & educational and the kids love the new games … Feed the Monster and Hide n’ Seek Zoomer.

    Great list… consider adding Wisenhimer.com which is a fun educational website for kids with fun games, a virtual world, educational content questions, chat capabilities, a store where kids can buy items and decorate their Treehouse, a WiseJournal, daily challenges, coloring pages, send a letter to our troops, and more.

    if you want something specific for preshoolers,

    Try this site…www.kidswritethesite.com. It’s brand new but it looks promising. Kids can submit stories they’ve written, poems, art, etc…and see it posted on the site, while the site just posts the child’s first name, last initial and age.

    ok im sick of this can you people get it in your mind that yes there are awesome games out there but make a new one with a world like yours no memberships at all all you guys want to do is make money but think of kids out there that like the web site but dont have a lot of money to get a membership and yes make a website for kids 10 and older i like webkinz but know you people are geting to much money so make a website thats like our world make people do things that people do in real life play game talk walk buy pets make friends buy a house live a life get it in your guys heads that there needs a new website
