Choose a template, background color and added shapes, and upload photos (these can be from your PC, webcam, mobile device, etc.). Next, you can play with the photos’ position on your canvas and arrange them as you wish. This is a great deal of fun and the best part about it is that Photovisi also offers free download and sharing of your collage, and for a small fee you can also order prints and mugs of your photo creation.

Here’s my personal collage made up of a couple of photos of my cat, my summer feet and a winter day’s rainbow.

SinFest – Online since March 2000 (!), SinFest is one of the best webcomics resources you will find. What’s the difference between regular comics and webcomics, you might ask? Well, it’s pretty straightforward; comics = printed books, webcomics = online pages. All of the SinFest webcomics were created by the most talented Tatsuya Ishida, a person with what seems like an infinite amount of creativity and charm. They also all have to do with the devil, sins, the Cross and religion; if these issues and/or making fun of them is offensive to you, I suggest you skip SinFest.

Twaggies – This funny and creative site is unusual in the most positive sense, offering original and totally hilarious illustrations and graphics, usually accompanied by sarcastic/downright funny commentary. Having scored the crown of the Weekly Blogs, Twaggies nailed the Weekly Fave spot last week and it’s also one of my personal favorites.

Twaggies does it right: a sort of a creative visual tweet generator, each post is short, composed of one illustration or visual creation, and you are invited to follow that visual’s creator on Twitter. Moreover, navigating through the site is easy and appealing; you can dig the archive, choose a category or click the Random Twag Generator for maximized entertainment. That is how I found this lovely visual, created by @xenijardin. Enjoy.

Weirdo Toys – This unusual blog was a smashing Weekly Blog a week ago, therefore it scored a Weekly Fave spot last week. According to the site’s About page, the anonymous creator started this blog so it will serve as a site “dedicated to showcasing the quirky, neat, bizarre, sometimes forgotten and downright ugly toys that I’ve stumbled upon.”

I just love the nostalgic premise and the oddity that infuses Weirdo Toys, and it’s so unique I just keep coming back for more. See the photos of some of the obscure toys you will find on the site, along with the stories behind them.

Shit My Kids Ruined – A Mess Only A Mother Could Love

Shit My Kids Ruined – Kids will be kids, and this is particularly true for the chaotic, draw-on-everything, spill-whatever-is-in-your-hands, phase young children are known for. Julie Haas Brophy woke up one morning to find out her little boy spilled a can of black paint all over her living room carpet. She posted photos of the mess on Facebook and she got reactions from all over. The next morning Julie decided to make an actual documentary-like blog of such mishaps in the house caused by her kids, husband and dog.

The result is Shit My Kids Ruined (or SMKR for short). Be sure to check out the shitmykidsruined.com domain in the future since the tumblr site might become obsolete sometime in the future. See some photos below of what it’s like in Julie’s house. I admire great projects that started out as an ordeal, and Julie has turned what other mothers would consider a continual disaster into a hilarious and fun thing. Go Julie! By the way, SMKR was also a Weekly Blog on our Blogs page, and users all over flocked to her site – she scored very high on popularity. Therefore SMKR made it to the Weekly Faves lineup.

You Are Not So Smart – A winning Weekly Blog on All My Faves, You Are Not So Smart, simply put, is “a blog devoted to self delusion and irrational thinking.” Each post is made up of an an introductory Misconception, a common wisdom fact that isn’t factual at all, then followed by the truth (based on empirical studies and scholarly publications). Creator David McRaney, a professional journalist, proves he is indeed in the right profession; the posts in his blog are beautifully written. Without even noticing it, I spent a long session of insightful reads here. I relished in every single one I’ve read and I appreciated the diversity of the topics covered in the blog. One interesting post I thought you should read as well is Opposites. Enjoy.
